We also strive to recruit the most qualified international students to the University of Utah. Our professional staff is ready to assist:

  • international students
  • academic departments who are inviting visiting international faculty and researchers
  • international faculty and researchers
  • international alumni
  • all students interested in gaining intercultural skills and global awareness through interaction with people from around the world right here on campus
  • campus groups, offices, and department interested in gaining the skills to effectively advise and work with people from across the globe
  • People in Salt Lake City and across the State of Utah who are interested in connecting with particular cultures or seek resources and knowledge regarding nationalities represented in the University of Utah community

Our staff members are experts in the immigration regulations pertaining to non-immigrant F and J visa holders and we ensure that the University of Utah complies with immigration regulations pertaining to international students and scholars. International Student and Scholar’s goal is for students, staff, faculty, and visitors from around the world to feel welcome and an integral part of the campus community. We encourage everyone on campus to share their cultures, traditions, and perspectives with each other to continuously improve intercultural understanding and global learning across campus and beyond.
